2007 Argyle Brut Rosé Tasting Notes
The 2007 Argyle Brut Rosé is an artistic blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, both grown on the highest blocks of Knudsen Vineyards in the Dundee Hills of Oregon. The very first aromas are of raspberry, juicy anjou pear and hints of Tillamook strawberries. The tongue-tickling fizz introduces a clean, satisfying minerality with excellent balance and mild tannin. Essence of sun-warmed rose petals and pomegranate linger on the palate and evolve into sublime hints of cherry-currant and strawberry creme. Delicious on its own or paired with vegetarian fare, seafood, poultry, pizzas and any patisserie.
Wine Scores and Reviews for Argyle Brut Rosé
- 2007: Wine Advocate 93 "The 2007 Brut Rose is the best that winemaker Rollin Soles has made to date. Medium pink-colored, it has an alluring perfume of strawberry, rose petal, cinnamon, and raspberry. Rich, creamy, and concentrated, this lengthy, flavorful effort is a hedonist’s delight. It merits pairing with the finest caviar or jamon Iberico. - JM"
