2010 Minus Five Tasting Notes
Taking a tip from our neighbors to the north, this expression of an ice wine style Riesling is absolutely classic. Aromatically intense with ripe, juicy peach, waxy Hoya flower, and subtle sandalwood undertones, the palate is no less intense playing a delicate balancing act between fruit intensity, acidity, alcohol, and rich sweetness. The goal of a rich, very sweet nectar that finishes clean and pure with enough acidity to pique the tastebuds is certainly achieved here. This doesn’t accompany a dessert, this IS dessert!
