For this very special limited release, we have gone deep into the Argyle Library. Featuring two Spirithouse rarities from the outstanding 2000 vintage, these wines reflect the elegant alchemy of perfectly aged Argyle wines. Graceful, refined and still beautifully alive in the bottle, they are a must for any collector.

Our founding winemaker Rollin Soles said of the 2009 vintage, "I don’t know that I have seen a more sensuous expression of flavor and aromas in my 23 years of Willamette Valley winemaking." After nearly 10 years of aging in large format, this 100% Knudsen Vineyard Pinot Noir is graceful, elegant and powerful.

Planted in 1974, The traditional backbone Pinot Noir of the Knudsen Vineyard Brut provides understated aromas of apple, plum and nougat which opens into a creamy, lees aged mouthfeel. Even cooler and later than the 2010 vintage, the 2011 growing season provides taut acidy, mineral depth, and unwavering length. Young and tightly wound, the red cherry and rose petal Pinot Noir character will continue to emerge with cellaring.

This stunning 100% Chardonnay sparkling magnum from our library is sourced from one single extraordinary block of our preeminent Knudsen Vineyard. 

Argyle Brut Rosé is magic-in-the-making. How else can we describe the storybook marriage of our most vibrant fruit? Argyle Brut Rosé weds rose petal aromas and delicate fruit flavors in an opulent structure renewing our vow to craft the very finest vintage Sparkling Wine.

Our founding winemaker, Rollin Soles, came to the Willamette Valley in the 1980’s to make this wine. It is the foundation on which everything at Argyle is made. Our signature sparkling wine is preserved for extended bottle aging in a magnum format.
