Our Story
Argyle Winery was founded with the vision to produce world-class sparkling wines in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Since 1987, Argyle has grown into an iconic name, recognized for our craftsmanship and innovation. Guided by a spirit of exploration, community, and a deep connection to the land, we have remained dedicated to producing wines that embody the Argyle way.
In the Winery
Winemaker Nate Klostermann leads our small-lot production, emphasizing techniques like extended tirage for sparkling wines and whole-cluster fermentation for Pinot Noirs. This approach allows us to preserve the purity of our estate fruit while pushing the boundaries of winemaking, creating wines with depth, character, and balance.
In the Vineyards
Our vineyards, including Knudsen, Lone Star, Spirit Hill, and Giving Tree, are the foundation of our exceptional wines. With a focus on sustainability, we farm these unique sites with precision to reflect the distinct terroir in our sparkling wines, Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays, and Rieslings, allowing Argyle to compete with the best wines globally.
