Willamette Valley

2023 Estate Reserve Still Rosé

Crafted from a blend of our favorite varietals, this rosé tantalizes with aromas of white flowers and fresh strawberry, balanced by mineral notes akin to wet rock. A note of raspberries adds vibrancy. Clean and refined, it invites sunny days and casual company with its ease.

World-Class Sparkling

Argyle Winery is consistently recognized for the quality of its sparkling wines. It is also the only winery in Willamette to produce wines that are consistently rated by Wine Spectator as the Top 100 Wines of the World in three categories: red, white, and sparkling.

Vintage Notes

A cool, wet April triggered a delayed start to the 2023 growing season. After an abrupt warm weather change in late April, budbreak commenced. Continued warm weather through May resulted in record breaking shoot growth rates and within two weeks, vintage 2023 morphed from a cool, late vintage to an early, warmer than average vintage. Initial observations showed low fruitfulness and a potential lower than average crop load. As warm, dry weather continued, conditions during bloom were near perfect for abundant fruit set which resulted in full, dense clusters. This combination led to naturally occurring high quality conditions for fruit to ripen on the vine. As the condensed growing season continued, harvest started late August and was tied for the earliest harvest on record for Argyle Winery. With minimal rain in the forecast throughout the harvest season, fruit was picked at the upmost quality and timing.
