Argyle Supports the James Beard Foundation Relief Fund

The relationships that we have formed over the years with our friends in the restaurant industry  have meant the world to us, as has their support. Today, these restaurants need our help to withstand this pandemic, and to take care of the countless people whose livelihoods depend on their continuing success.

To this end, we are proud to share the news that Argyle is partnering with the James Beard Foundation as an official donor to the James Beard Foundation Relief Fund. This important fund is providing emergency financial assistance to small, independent restaurants across the country that are faced with closures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supporting this industry is more important than many realize. Restaurants, bars, and independent food operations employ nearly 16% of the American workforce. They also support local economies by paying taxes, through municipal utilities, and by bringing jobs to underserved communities. For all of these reasons, and many more, being a part of this relief effort is near and dear to our hearts.
