We’ve combed through Winemag.com search history to discover which rosés are most often sought out for reviews, scores and tasting notes. Unsurprisingly, France dominates the list, but, this year, California’s Central Coast has also made a strong showing in the category.

Argyle 2019 Rosé of Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley); $27, 90 points. Sourced from the Knudsen and Spirit Hill vineyards, this is a light and pretty coppery pink, scented with orange blossoms and laced with bracing citrus flavors. The strawberry and watermelon fruit falls on the tart side, but the overall impression is that this is a stylish and impeccably fresh rosé that can be chilled and enjoyed with almost any kind of outdoor picnic fare.
