The Wines in Your September Shipment
2012 Extended Tirage Brut
We’re transported back to 2012 with our Extended Tirage – back to the warmth and ripeness of the vintage. Juicy with pear and golden apples, our Extended Tirage is round and vibrant with a fine mousse creating a weighted richness. On tirage for 10 years, the additional aromatics of baked spice cake developed – a festive melody of flavors and textures to pair with sweet Tarte Tatin or Pork Roulade.

2019 Spirit Hill Vineyard Chardonnay
Blended from one neutral puncheon of 548 Dijon Clone Chardonnay and one new barrique of 76 Dijon Clone Chardonnay, this year’s vintage shows white peach, lemon pith, and jasmine underlined with persistent texture and savory spice. Entirely barrel fermented, the wine was allowed to age elegantly on full lees for 16 months in French oak.

2020 Nuthouse Chardonnay
With the majority of this vintage’s chardonnay being from our Lonestar Vineyard, the aromas of lemon verbena, slate and allspice are pronounced and forthcoming. This vibrancy is matched by aging in puncheon barrels to provide its luscious texture and oak tannin for balance and lengthy finish, making for a perfect addition to the cellar or highlighting a celebration.

2021 Reserve Pinot Noir
True balance is best expressed in this vintage of our Reserve Pinot Noir. The influence of Eola-Amity Hills fruit is powerful and spicy with dense, dark fruit, while the Dundee Hills contributes a soft texture and brightness to the blend.

2020 Nuthouse Pinot Noir
A classically Eola-Amity Hills blend telling the perfect story of our estate vineyards in this AVA, this Nuthouse Pinot Noir is brooding with crunchy cassis and deep black raspberry notes. Its mouthwatering acidity mellows the textured tannins and adds a layer of depth, personality and longevity.

2011 Extended Tirage Brut 1.5L
2011 is a truly unique vintage to celebrate, as Mother Nature blessed us with a relatively dry autumn to help get us over the line. Highlighted by its tense backbone and well-framed acidity, the 2011 Brut was especially set up for long-term aging on the lees. Creamy and layered textures are buoyed by the freshness of recent disgorgement. Ripe nectarine, white cherry, and honeycomb, are layered with the mature complexity of brioche and roast hazelnut, bringing harmony to a graceful and elegant finish.

Add-On Options
2018 Brut Rosé
A balanced blend, Pinot Noir establishes a savory core, while Pinot Meunier brings floral characteristics and Chardonnay adds brightness. Bright, medium salmon-pink hue in color and perfume of rose petal, orange peel, and clove lead to an elegant, supple structure, and ginger-laced finish.

2019 Spirithouse Riesling
Spirithouse Riesling is Argyle’s culmination of 30 years of viticultural mastery & our most innovative winemaking. Spirithouse is Argyle’s purest expression of power and grace. Fermented and aged in a combination of neutral oak barrel, puncheon, and concrete egg, the Spirithouse Riesling strives for nuanced texture and density.
